Structure and Organisation
The chartiable organi&gtion was set up on 9 PAty 1982 wtth ex￿pIed charitable ststus
under a model trust dated 16 Febnjary 1953 and became a Charitable Incorporated
Organisation on 14 April 2016.
Trustso Appointments
The Pastor of the church is ex-Off￿10 the chairperson of the Board of Trustees and their
position is reviewed two years after apwintment and then every four years after that.
The remaining Trustees are appointed annualty by the members of Penycae
Ne0hbOurh(￿ Church of The Nazarene at the annual general meetiThJ hehd in February
each yeaT.
Governance and Wider Network
The Board of TTUStees meets regulaty. nonnally on a monthly basis to consider the work
and management ofthe church and a8se88 and plan Ihe financid and other aspects of the
work and diredion ofthe Gharty.
The church is a member of the Church of The N8Z8rene Brrti%h Is￿S South District (a
Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee) who in tum is a member of The Intemalional
Church ofThe Naza￿ne Inc which has headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. USA.
The chanty, and the wider nalwork it is a member of, are all governed by the Manual of the
Intemational ChurGh of The Nazarene Inc which is sutyect to amendment on a quadtennial
basis at the General Assembty of The Intemational Church of The Nazarene Inc The last
General Assembly took place in June 2023. The next General Assembly will take place in
June 2027.

The risk management strategy of the church ts in a continual process of formulation in
response to the changir#J circumstances that could ifflpact uwn Ihe work ofthe church.
The Board of Trustees. in considering this important task, tske directK)n from on-going
discussKsns with members both intemaltyi and through meetings wrth the Church of The
Nazarene British Isles South District and other advisers, adopting appropriale policies as
required or as they be¢on￿ necessary tothe ongoing work ofthe church.

The chartty d¢)es nol have a pollcy on reserves as the expendlture and work oflhe charlty
is reliant upon the ongoing supp)rt, tlthes and offerin9s of the members and friends
re¢esved at the weekty meetings. The Board of Tru8tee8 revEYro on a monlhty basis the
anticipaled income and 6xpendrtur8 for the next two to three months in order to ensure the
ongoing work of the chanty.

The charity has continued throughout the perbj to meet and tsllor the exFenditure it incurs
to the income recefved through rent for use of the building and through the offerings and
donations received. The tnJ$tees do r￿t forès￿ 8 major impact in the funds received but
there ho$ been a r￿U¢l￿n in the income. The trustees encouragè those that can, to pay
dlrect to the charty by standlng cffder whlk8 cash is counted weekty by two trusiees.

Plans for FU￿ra Poriods
wrth the appointment of Pastor Tracey Day the board of tnjstees plan a strategy and
planning day in 2024 to kM)k at the church activities and future development of the charity.
The tTUStees are planning a weekend away for the church congr8gats.on in April 2024 to
further eneDur8ge felkNvship and fonning deeper relat￿rshIpS.
We continue to plan forthe fijture through prayer. planning and strategy meetings. however
in the end we a￿pt that we rety on our Father GTrJ lo enable, encourage and guide us
into the fijture that He has planned.

Thls is unrestricled funds fc* use to &h￿ve the aims and objectives of the charity.
Flylng Start Fund
Thts is an unrestricted fund designated to ertter monies received and expended on the
management of the FWing Start setting in Penyroe.
ICE Fund
This fund is money that has been raised or set asKle to cover unex[￿ed expenses that may arise
Mountain Bike Guiding Fund
This 15 an unrestricted fund designated to entw the monies ￿Ned arbd expeTrtsJ on the Mountain
Bike Guiding Program.
Youth & Children Fund
This is an unrestricted fvnd designat&J to enter the monies re￿iVed and expended on the youth
pr￿raMs.
Capital Fund
This is an unrestrided fund desKJnated to hold the 50% freehokl cost of the manse and entei the
monies ￿1ved and expeThJ8J on the mortgaje on this freehold.
Revaluallon Reserve
The manse protwty owned by the chureh at 192 Ffordd Llanerch was revalued in line wrth the mathel
value of the propety re￿i¥¢d from the Church of The Nazarene Brrbsh Isles Soulh District and the
loss allocated to this reserve.

During the year Rev Tracey Day, the Pastor. vms paid remuneration of £1,997 12022 Pastor K
Cameron £3,998), and ￿n￿on contributions of£100 (2022 Pastor K Cameron £1881. The Pastor and
one Trustee r￿1Ved £4.476 in reimbursed expenses during the year (2022 £2.383}.
