## **Chairpersons Annual Report** 

During the lock down Nicky Blunden Carried on working with staff and volunteers, organizing shopping, collecting prescription and delivering them within the community. 

The team have been working very hard to get the centre up and running The main project this year will be taking over the library the team have plenty of ideas that will benefit the community 

## **Treasurers Annual Report** 

The accounts are looking good, Nicky as managed to hire out the hall to various clubs bring in some funds. Nicky as applied for various grants, 

## **Youth Services** 

Angela as the 0- 5 years old, there is baby massage, sensory play messy play, many new families have joined the groups. Vicky Francis has the 5-19 groups, which includes Art classes youth clubs, a family summer scheme with plenty of activities Plus trips to the forest and the children will also have a meal, the centre is also running a cookery course using slow cookers there are plenty of recipes and the end of the course they will be given a slow cooker. Parenting course are also run, And they manage the youth centre at Brighton hill on a Wednesday 



The old committee stood down 

New Committee Nominated and Elected. Chairperson Deborah McDermott (Chair Person Secretary -Jean Osborne Treasurer- Empty post Jon McDermott Lesley Allen – stepped down as treasurer but staying on committee Nicky Skeats Alan Nicholas Colin Regan Margaret Neale – voted on as new committee member 

## **Social Club** 

The social   club has opened part time at the present time they are the football will bring in new members, they have asked to have a board put in front of the centre to bring in more members Dani Berry will check with the council.

This report on the financial statements of Westside Community Association for the year ended 31 sl
March 2021, which are sel out on pages 2 to 6. is in respect of an examination carried out in
accordance with Section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 (the .2011 Acfl.

As members of Ihe.4ssociation you are responsible for the preparation of the financial slatemenls,.
you consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 144121 of the 2011 Act}.

to examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act.,
to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission
ltsnder section 1451511bl of the 2011 Act., and
to stale whether particular matters have come to our attention.
Basis of independent examlner's statement
Our examination was Carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination include5 a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the a¢count5 presented with those records. 11 also includes consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the a¢¢ounls and seeking explanations from the Irustees concerning
any such matiers. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required
in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the a¢¢ounls present a "true and fair
view. and the report is limited to those matter5 set out in the statement below.

In the course of our examination, no matter has come lo our attention..

to keep proper accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act., and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the
