We have continued our work to support
a number of vulnerable famllies
Including those with additsonal needs
and others where we have worked
alongside other agencies such as the
Child Development Centre and Speech
and Language Therapists. This helps
children in our care to develop high self
esteem. self regulation and competence
as indtvidua15 in their early years. We
help older chlldren to become school
ready arbd help foster a lifelong love of
leaming. We support families from
variety of cultural and ethnic
backgrounds including some for who
English is an additional language.

This year we did not make a loss. In
April 2023 the preschool extended its
opening hours to accommodate 30 hour
provision. This has increased our
expenditure to cover staffing and
building costs but has also allowed us
to attract new families to the preschool,

afflount of funding available to us from
the local authori
