**The charity experienced a 22% increase in income over**
**the previous year. But there was also a 93% increase in**
**expenditure over the previous year, driven mostly by**
**increases in support for Christian workers and transport**
**costs to facilitate church members to participate in**
**regional conferences and blending meetings. However,**
**because this increase was from a low level last year there**
**was still an £8.75K excess of income over expenditure**
**during the year ending 30 June 2023.**
