## **Achievements and performance**

whole.|**Whatever Your Weather – during the R&D for our immersive music**
**and mindfulness experience we engaged with 300 students from**
**Saffron Walden County High School to help introduce them to new**
**musical approaches and develop their awareness of the benefits of**
**engaging with mindfulness practices. This project also saw the**
**completion of a new composition commission by**
**trombonist/educator Raphael Clarkson and our musicians engaged**
**in a series of professional developmental activities surrounding**
**mindfulness practice and education. This project culminated in a**
**premiere at the 2023 Spitalfields Music Festival – one of the UK’s**
**leading contemporary music festivals. Other partners included**
**Saffron Hall, and Mindful Music London.**
**Joy Ellis – As a pianist and songwriter with trio albums to her**
**name, Joy Ellis approached us to help her learn how to write and**
**work with a large ensemble. This year we have helped her to**
**successfully receive funding for the R&D stage of her project,**
**which will take part in 2024, with a combination of one-to-one**
**lessons and orchestral ensemble sessions.**|
