## **Achievements and performance** 



|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|**Whatever Your Weather – during the R&D for our immersive music**<br>**and mindfulness experience we engaged with 300 students from**<br>**Saffron Walden County High School to help introduce them to new**<br>**musical approaches and develop their awareness of the benefits of**<br>**engaging with mindfulness practices. This project also saw the**<br>**completion of a new composition commission by**<br>**trombonist/educator Raphael Clarkson and our musicians engaged**<br>**in a series of professional developmental activities surrounding**<br>**mindfulness practice and education. This project culminated in a**<br>**premiere at the 2023 Spitalfields Music Festival – one of the UK’s**<br>**leading contemporary music festivals. Other partners included**<br>**Saffron Hall, and Mindful Music London.**<br>**Joy Ellis – As a pianist and songwriter with trio albums to her**<br>**name, Joy Ellis approached us to help her learn how to write and**<br>**work with a large ensemble. This year we have helped her to**<br>**successfully receive funding for the R&D stage of her project,**<br>**which will take part in 2024, with a combination of one-to-one**<br>**lessons and orchestral ensemble sessions.**|
