Plant. hert) and horw sales are our main Sour￿ of tradirrfJ income,

of produ￿ fr￿n our COMM￿￿ty Garden to Q921 and introduang sales
of craft items m* by members volunteers, whth together with
sales of b(x)ks and DVDS raised £2,155. We 1fr￿nk our team of
volunteers for these aChlev￿nents.
To ertsure the safety of volunteers when rdumaj to work in June.
we reduced the numbers at each S￿l0n and Introd￿ measures for
so¢ially-distancaJ workirKJ. We also secwed a micrwant frcxn the
tools to minimise Sh￿ bet1￿￿ peo*, as well a5 hygiene products
Two potytunnels were pwchased fr(xn grant funds. one from the Essex
Communty F￿nd￿lon. the other from the Natiork31 Lottw Heritage
Fund. These will allow us to progress with a projed to grow our own
herbs. We also bought a frurt cage armj installaj rabbit-pn)of knang
from a grant WOVKled by Braintree District Council. These items were all
key to our drive to increase the prcKluctivty of the Community Garden,
both during the yw atKI for the future.
We re￿iVed a grant from banK the co-opwa.ve Barnk, whith will
erkqble us to repla￿ the footpath around the Wellhouse in 2(Y2150 that rt
will be safer and more aC￿lble to alL
We participated in the Apple Day held at Easton Lodge. as we were
unable to hold our (Nm event.
After losing two of our three b* hives in 2019. we introduc&1 two new
swarms to build our apiary bad( to thr* arKI extratknl 251bs of honey
during the yeat.
We irrtr¢xluced our own ￿lendar the first tKno however sales were
muted due to visitor restrithns being introduced again from November.
We strengthened our patr*rships with the East ￿ EnglarKI Orctsrds and
Apples Projed who sUP￿rted ow for￿ rm tree planting acxoss the site:
