To advance Islam**<br>**2. To relieve poverty, in particular**<br>**but not exclusively by the**<br>**provision of a food bank**<br>**3. To provide or assist in the**<br>**provision of facilities in the**<br>**interests of social welfare for**<br>**recreation or other leisure time**<br>**occupation of individuals who**<br>**need such as facilities by reason**<br>**of their youth, age, infirmity or**<br>**disability, financial hardship or**<br>**social circumstances with the**<br>**object of improving their**<br>**conditions of life.**|

Activities includes, art and**<br>**design, painting, reading, homework**<br>**club (focussing on literacy and**<br>**numeracy at Year 8 level) and teaching**<br>**the basics of Islam.  The Centre also**<br>**runs a now established a ladies Sewing**<br>**and Coffee club every Wednesday**<br>**morning and a wellbeing morning**<br>**session on Thursday mornings, again**<br>**for ladies. We also now have an**<br>**established Elderly Gardening club that**<br>**has landscaped the Centre yard with**<br>**beautiful flowers and fruit trees, as well**<br>**as tea bushes.   This year, we were**<br>**happy to welcome the Hope Allotment**<br>**group to have several cookery sessions**<br>**in the upper section of the Centre.  With**<br>**all activities, we offer daily Muslim**|





|||**prayers, in keeping with objectives of**<br>**the Centre. The Centre also arranged, in**<br>**coordination with the council, two Eid**<br>**prayers at Firth Park, allowing the local**<br>**community to celebrate the end of**<br>**Ramadan at Firth Park.  This covers**<br>**objects 1 and 3.  We have also arranged**<br>**monthly litter pick events in the areas**<br>**surrounding our centre.  Due to demand**<br>**from the community we continue to**<br>**provide emergency food aid.  The Centre**<br>**also held a community Iftar session for**<br>**the neighbours, which was well**<br>**received. This covers object 2.**|
