The Head of Shiloh Church is Jesu5 Cbrist. so we aFe all accountable to Him.
As a Church we aim to uphold biblical standards through guidance of the Holy Spirit
with Prayer and Fasting.
We aim to develop qL(alits' relationJhips in our Church and comTnunity in iesponse to
the command given bj. our Lord lo love one another, grow disciples and participate in
God's mission of reconciliation. so that our mission will be effective and in line with
his word.

The spiritual mintstries are directed by 4 groups of people at Shiloh Church i.e. Pastor
and Pastoral teanL Clergy. and Department Team L£ads. WEth the Trustees taking
ultimate legal responsibility.
The Leadership team are members of the Cburch who provide care and oversight.
They evaluate the teaching rninisty of the Church and review major ministy
decisions and initiatives. Each separate group assist and support the Pastor tn their
mission of Pastoral care, regular prayer for the sick with hotne visits, and attend
Eeadership meetmgs to uphoFd biblical standards so that the trth of Christ will remain
credible to the church members and the wider community.

The Church Trustees are accountable to the Charity Commission for the work the
Church participates itL and cany the legal responsibility for the decisions that are
made by the Church.
This responsibility is fulfilled under the direction and collaboration of the P&stor&
Pastoral team, Clergy and Leader5tup Team. ￿orking in the different capacity groups
outIined. Remuneration is provided to the Pastor through a basic monthly stipend. All
other remuneration provided for Trustees are for the reimbursement of expenses
whilst canying out theEr duties.

CoronaviruslCovid-19 was announc¢d by the GovemmenL who 88￿,e compulsory

held 8 meetings,7 of which were via Zoom with l OOO/o attendance by members. They also co-
ordinated the Charity Commission Annual Return 2019 and the 2016 Gift Aid repyayment to
H￿[￿c. which was both time sensitive-this was ackn'eved with D.MarshaJl taking the lead.
The team also continued to review the Incom¢& Expenditur¢ and financial systems.

Conference Services for our Senior members & others who could not access Zoom. on
Sundays. and Bibl¢ study servic¢s on Wednesdays from the 1914120, which was
initiated by Dor¢¢n Grant. The P&stor also imtiated Friday Prayer ]ne¢tings from th¢

After 6 months Inckdowm we had a trial run qeTvice on 6fynO to return to the Church
building with the Trustees. Clergy. Ushers, Leadership team and key Workers, to
check that our Covid-19 Risk assessments. Safeguardmg and Health & safety plans
were eff¢ctive- which was a successful event.
We 0￿1Cla11Y returned to the Church building after it was professionally cleaned on

Uur services w¢re limited to 90 minutes as stated in the guidelines, and we iveTe
infonned by Sandwell Council to restrEct gatherings to a maximum of 30 peopl¢ at
one time, with no singing by the congregatiOEL but th¢ WoTship Team wer¢ allowed to

Providing supwrt to build confidence of our metnbers to be involved in other
areas of ministry, Pastoral care via phone calls were given to Nvlnerable and
isolated members to help improve mental well-being.
Monthly visits to nursing homes with planned services that were cancelled.
A Church Food Bank distr(buted to the needy within the local communit! with
food provided by Church memlKrs. The Pastor provided Food Bank items and
also took items from our in-house Church supply to the locaI Elim distribution
Church Centre.

donations given to OpeTation Christmas Child shoe boxes. for Children across
Eastern Europe. Afnca and Central Asia. which was initiated by June Francis.
We are also sponsoring a Famtlv in Ukraine in association with Mercv Proiects.
The youth programm¢ LET'S was the 2020 objective pursued by the young
children via ZooDL which was facilitated by Dorcas Marshall. These sessions
covered.. Let's Talk-covid-lhe impact of Isolation& Racism& Injustice.
Windntsh& Inequality& Family links. The last 3 sessions were Let's Cook. and
all these sessions were fir￿lISed with a L£t's Hope and t£t's Cook end of year
party with gifts on the 18112120. On the l)11 IQO the youth also submitted 3
box¢s with donations to Operation shOe￿k via Satnaritans in West Bromwic
which was organized by Dorcas and team.

Room hire for meetings and social events in line with our policies and
procedures did not take place. due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Support and liaison with other churches, community. public and private
organisations as a fellowship and networking aim. so we supported Zoom
conferences. meetings and funerals virtually.

minimal cost to members. This meeting was inspiring and inforniative. Our guest
speaker was Missionary Linnett¢ M¢K¢nzie who encouraged us to embrace
change. Little did we know that this ivas our last National meeting in the Church
building for the year. and ¢veryone had to adapt to change. due to the pandemic.
