I am writing to present the Trustees' Annual Report (TAR) for Leeds-Medhanialem Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in West Yorkshire, Leeds.
The main objective of our Church is to advance Christianity for the public benefit, following the tenets of the Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Therefore, over the past year, we have focused on providing regular mass services and other religious activities for our members and the wider community.
In addition to regular services, we are proud to have held several successful events over the past year, including our annual Christmas celebration, Easter mass service and other annual celebrations. We also help various Gospel conferences and fundraising events. These events have brought our community together and allowed us to share our faith with others.
We funded our services primarily through membership fees and donations received during mass services. We are pleased to report that these contributions have remained steady over the past year, allowing us to maintain the operation of our church, further support our mission and expand our outreach efforts. It also helped us to carry out necessary repairs and renovations of the church building.
We were also fortunate to receive several generous donations from members of our community, which have allowed us to continue to thrive and grow, thanks to the support and generosity of our members. We are grateful for these ongoing contributions, both financial and in terms of time and effort, which have enabled us to continue to serve our community and spread the message of the Ethiopian Orthodox faith.
