CUF was established by the Church ol England as a practy¢al response to unmet need and has been active
in local communities for over 20 years through the Church of England's Socal parish networks, and
alongside othe¥ laith-based and secular organisations, lo bring about positive change in nèighbourhoods.
Funding arrangements
Together Norfolk was Driginally fomied in July 2016 as part ol the Together Ne￿o￿k as a partnership
between the Diocese ol Notwich and the CUF whereby lunding was split on a 50150 basis.
In 2020 CUF advised that they coukl no longer commit to any further unrestricted grant paymerts lor
Together Norfolk due to financial cthbacks. El was however agreed that where funds remitted from CUF
' were previously in excess of what was required to ¢over their annual 50.1. ol the Together Norfglk costs,
then the surplus funds could continue lo be used until fLJlly exhausted. Thls agreement Is on the ¢ondilion
that Togelher Norfolk continue lo spend funds in accordanc& WElh ils original wms and objectives and that
the Dio¢ese continues to meet Its funding rssponsibililies to contribute 50Y. by way of either seeking
additional extema grant funding or sell-tinancing.

Together Norfolk uses the grant mnies for any purpose other Ihan for the purposes sel out in this
agreement.
Any of Together Norfolk staff commit or attempt any fraud or have any undeclared and unattended
conflict ol interest in relation lo the agT8ed programrne.
CUF and the Diocesè reseNe the right to terminate the partnership and require repayment of the balancè DI
any unspenl grant money following the repayment ol any slatutDry grant mtsnies. In the evenl ol winding up
the ¢harity, the Ir2nsfer of any nel assets ol Together Ni>rfolk shall bB dealt with a￿rdIng to section 39 01
the Articles of Asso¢latlon.
The board of Together Norfolk is enlilled to the partnership agreement by giving CUF nol less than ihree
months, written notice and r&paying any unspent grant monies in ftJll. A decision to terminate iha agreement
would also be a deeision lo wilhdr8w from the Together Notwoth, and so any future work ol the charity
would need to continue under a different name and branding.

this has been release(I lo income as CUF'S 50 10 Contribution towards expenditure to date.
The remaining deferred in¢ome of £20,296 is repreSttnl￿ by Ihe va5ue ol the balance at bank of £242.854,
less £161,525 whith is owe(I lo the Diocese of No¢w¢h at year end, and other credifors of £61.033.
