## **Annual Report 2020/21** 

With COVID19 still affecting the country and what we were able to do or not do.  As a church family we were still initially meeting on Zoom., with a short time of worship, and a Bible study.  When ever possible we would distribute goody bags around to the wider church family, with little treats and activities, 

The building work on The Manse was progressing and during the year many jobs have been completed, including re-roofing the rear of the sunlounge, replacing rotten roof joists, and leaking gullies.  Re-aligning sewers that were running up hill,= and kept blocking.  Painting, and lots of other smaller jobs that needed doing. 

At the end of December 2020 Avril Lewis resigned her post as Community Link Worker, and has started work  for Forest New Life, to enable her to complete her work experience for her Theological Degree. 

As we continued through COVID, and with us being able to do many activities or events, the Leadership have started to look at the what God has planned for the future of Stroat Church, and its buildings.  We have been praying and listening to Gog, and know that he is in control, and he has bright plans for Stroat, and we are looking forward to walking the journey He has mapped out for us.

In late September as restrictions started to lift, we were able to start meeting again in person, this started as an informal time together with some still joining us via Zoom. 

During the year we said goodbye to Bernie & Ce-Faye Dumbleton who moved to be closer to their family, and to Shirley Webb, who also moved to be closer to her family— they are all truly missed, and we thank them for everything they contributed during their time at Stroat.
