## Stanhope Community Association ## Annual Report 2022 We began the year with storms in January, which brought snow and ice , which then caused a lot of condensation on the roof of the shop and water everywhere. We insulated the ceiling as much as possible, which seems to have stopped the condensation. Soon after that I fell and broke my femur, which meant that there were problems for most of the rest of the year . I did work from home until I could manage to get back into the Centre, but it caused difficulties all round. Covid was still affecting the attendances for most of the year and our volunteers/trustees were also affected throughout the year with losses, so we were very short of labour. We did find another builder to construct the store room, but not an easy build and material shortages caused problems. We still have a leakage in one section of the roof . All in all it was a year which was memorable for all the wrong reasons, but our thanks go to all who saw us through it.
