The Trustees 5tsrted the year looking forward to a 2022 12023 wtthout di5ruptioD, with all clubs and hirers able to train. and compete in

A decision w8S taken over the course of the frn2ncial year November 2022 to ottober 2023 to move bank accounts, and as result a submission
was acccpted to move year cnd t¢ 31st M)r¢h 2024. and so this annval rcport ¢ovcrs attNities Irom 1st Novcmbcr 2022 to 31st March 2Q24.
Throughout April & May, the complex hosted National Series Target Sprint Competitions arranged by regular hirer 5ed8emore Tar8et sprint
Club on behalf of British thooting.
In May, and in response to the incursion by Tovelers in the prevKJus financial year. ￿vrity was strengthened by the construction ol a bund
mound around the car park to prevent unauth)ri5ed acce55 tothepitches. F￿rther security measures are p￿Trned.
The Trustee5 were delighted to once again host the Yate Cancer Relief Relay for Life. which returned to the complex in july lor the first time
posi covid, with a reducÈd trial format. The Trustees look forward to a returr to ihe n(mal 24 hour format in 2024.
In August and September. alongside Thorrnal competition, the cornple¥ wa5 pleased to host athletics events for Nlasters, with participants
ranging from age 35 to 85. and Deaf Schools, pro¥iding z rare opportunity for deaf children to gel iTrvofved in athletics.
In A￿ust 2023. work carried oul io wideTr the access routÈ to the Multi-A£tivity buld1￿8 enabled this large indoor space to bÈ utilisèd bv
wheelch?ir users Thi5 has allowed the Yale & District AC AdaptiveAthletlC5 Users to continue tr3iThing Ihrryjgh the winter monlh5. Throughout
the year the fzciliiy has regular hirers from Marshal Ans Clubs and Street Fusion Dance- This is a weekly session for young adults and teens
with addiiional needs. Pzriicipanrs learn a new dance every ierrn and iher, perform 10 p3renis and carers ai the end of ierm. The Trusiees
were pleased 10 finally welcome Ihe Yate Boxing Club io hire ihe twilding from November 2023.
Over the course of the year. construction of the new Ladden Garden Village F5tale corne closer to YOSC Ltd boundarie5. and in August,
planning perwni55ion was granted for a package of 145 residen￿5 direcily adjacent to the cofflplex. The resKlentrs will be protected froyn noise
from the siie wilh ihe 8reciion of an acousiic fence, however. whilsi wdcorning ihe influx of poteniial new hirers. the Trustee5 remain
cauiious as io the effethwty of the proposed fence, and implications for ihe future.
Throughout the year, the cornplex continued to welcorne staff and pupi15 of South Gloucestershire Sport & Education who use the clubhouse
as 3 base lor providing educational menioring for student5 Wlth=ornple¥ reeds who do not cope well in mainstre3m School. and Brimsharn
Green khool continued to make use of the alkweather piiche5 and athletics track for PE lessons 3nd clubs.
The Trustees are pleased to report the growth in resident clubs. Over the financial year. tr#)th Yate Football Club and Y3te Rugby Club
introduced fe￿Ie teatns. The Rugby Club betatne a Bristol Bears Connexion club. h05tin8 a Thumbei of Btistol Bear5 days at the carnplex. Yate
Athletic Club extended their Adaptive Athletics offering to five sessions a W￿ek pro¥icing chilLlren and adult5 Wlth a wide range of di5atiilities
