demographic. To ¥¢hieve this the Chairty continued lo invest in staffing and training This Included
the launch of our newAccessible Counselling sffv￿e dd¢Ver￿ by a qualifEd Bn"Iish Association of
Counselling ond Psychfrtlierapy {BACPI Counsellot and PsychotheT2ptsL wtth over 30 years,

Charity has supported children and young people in the local communtyand in secondary scho
sèttings.

Secondary 5chcK)Is across B&NES and Wijtshire. These tgenagers are ether based in schod or not
in educÉtion.

The Charity continued to delNer its twe￿a￿eek Wellbeing Programme either on a 1..1 or 2.1 basis,
targeting secondary sth(x)I students in )ears 9 -11 in the Norton Ralsiod( area. The course coveTS
exeicise. he￿th preventw)n, nLrtritKJn and heatthy eattTrg, a f￿ar￿la1 element fr&using o
budgeting and managing morEy. It also includes a Gommunty ¥o￿nteering element. We're
delighted to weport that this year the Charity gained a￿reditth￿ with the exam toard AQA. AII
students who succAssftJlty complete the Wdbeing Programme now receive an AQA c￿rt￿1(a1e.l8
young people cotllpleled thè L￿e1 1 Prcgrarnme thi5 sear and 10 ￿ung p80p￿ successfully
Cfxnpkted Level 2.

individtjals who'd never cycle(l or not rycled for 2 k)ng time to tsain for an SFC lide chaHense over
3 days planned for Sept 2025. The 5Ptn cL4sses TrhEre pcsjular and 6 sessions per week were
delivered at various limes and da￿ to ensure they were access&)le to all. Apprctx. 20 people
attended each wvk.

The chatity continued gentle chair exercise dasses for older peopk in retiiemenl housing
¢omplexes and extra rAre schemes. The dasses proved popular reaching 42 older people. The
focus was on improving mobility, de￿￿)ping positi￿ men181 heahh. buildmg confKlence and
Teducing social isolatK>n. Resrdents *ere encour￿￿ to build rpw fr￿shIpS and sotsaise OLrtsK*e

Once a month, the Ch8rty also trartsported the o*er p￿PIe to Ihtrr premtses in Chikompton for
hav 2 day of fL*n activities including swoing v￿h the SFC Kindness Ghoir, gentle seated exerc￿e,
game5 and refreshments. This prowjed the oppryt¥nty lo soci&lise other 0￿r people from
different housing coThp￿X￿s ￿lty, buikkng rEWfrieTrlSh￿ls aThJ ft]n toget1￿r.
Ultimately the Charity looks to inprove famjly u)h6sKJn through Ihese pragrammes.

Inspired by our ethos of kindness. the Charty pr0dl￿ a dwjmerktary demonstF8t4ng
how the of ur￿(m￿rt￿)nal k￿dnesS Can bn'ng about ￿￿$rtNe soci?1 donge. To date 6
episc¥Jes have been prodLJcèd htgknlighling different aspects of kindness in Ile wodd These have
been invaluable in helping spread the message of ￿ndnesS and enc4wraging others to ￿£¢)me
invofved.
Events
The Chartty ha$ provided numerous opportunlrs for k)¢al families to take part in a variety of
challeng￿. These included a fire walk in May 2024 where 50 individuaLs took pgrt, the National 3
Peaks Challenge in June 2024 and the Sathrd Sanla Dash in Dec 21r24 as we were one of the
beneficiary Gharities. Over 80 indMdu8Ps fr(Trm thal farrdlies parti¢pated. Other gvents included a
charity goll day at C8stle G()mbe hosted by a loizl business in July 2024 where 22 teams Iwk part
lo raise funds foi us and gur 1 Oth Annwsary Ball at AeTDSpace, Fitton on 16
November 2024 where 340 peDp￿ attended.
The Charitys Kindness Ghoir perftrmied at Bath Christlnas Marf(et in Dec 2024 and
Christma5 party was held for over 60 people where the Ghanty's 6taff 5eNed Christmas lunch to
lo¢al familts. Thè Chanty a150 delivered over 50 hampers to li)¢81 families at Christma5 time.
