**Objects:** (1) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A PUBLIC LIBRARY AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION ANDLEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE FOR THESE INHABITANTS.(2) TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BEXLEY AND ITS SURROUNDING NEIGHBOURHOOD, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY,FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE.

**Activities:** We are a community library in the heart of Blackfen High Street and our vision is to have an "open door" for our community and be a home away from home that provides opportunities to access a great world of books in a comforting "third space".  Our library space caters for individual population groups needing a place to belong plus a way to bring together different groups in our community.
