The trustees at the end of the year were: - Trustee & Chair Mrs R Rose Trustee & Treasurer Mr H K Johnson MBE Trustee Mrs D Arnold Trustee Mrs S Boldison Trustee Mrs T Brown Trustee Mrs M Eckersley Trustee Mrs R Noblett Trustee Mrs J Orme 

Two new trustees have been appointed from 1[st] October 2021, namely Mr. Graham Cooke and Mr. Richard Brook. 

## **Governing Document** 

The CIO’s remit is _“THE RUNNING OF THE VILLAGE HALL FOR THE BENEFIT OF RESIDENTS IN THE VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING AREA AND TO DO SO AT PRICES WHICH COVER RUNNING COSTS AND ARE AFFORDABLE TO ALL LIKELY USERS”_ 

## **Financial Policy** 

The charity operates two funds which operate on a Receipts and Payments basis. 

 General Fund. For the regular operation of the charity  Restricted Fund For grants income and expenditure. 

## **Public Benefit** 

This charity continues to provide a Village Hall as a benefit for local organisations and individuals.  The trustees keep the hire charges for community groups as low as possible so as not to restrict access. 

## **Activities and achievements** 

The major activity of the charity is to manage the village hall for the benefit of the residents of the local area.  Despite the pandemic, Preschool were able to continue meeting and with the relaxing of the lockdown all but one of the other regular groups have returned.  The hall is widely used for many family and community activities, especially for the young. The Trustees objective is now to diversify more to give a wider scope of interests for the whole of the local community.
