Charity Commission Report for period 2023/2024
Haddenham Community Vehicle (HCV) continues to provide much needed support to the community in Haddenham and surrounding villages with a focus on mobility issues and social isolation.
The Charity continues to have the support of its 6 Trustees and its team of dedicated volunteer drivers. Everyone associated with HCV continues to be an unpaid volunteer. We are also blessed to have local businesses which recognise the achievements of HCV and provide considerable support.
We support a client list of the of around 50 members of the community. They depend on the personal door to door service that we provide. It gives them confidence and a sense of trust in knowing our drivers rather than the impersonal service often provided by taxis or other forms of public transport.
Our wheelchair modified vehicle will be 9 years old in October and is in need of replacement with a modern converted vehicle. The Trustees are considering the replacement of the vehicle within the next 12 months and will seek funding accordingly.
