During 2025 the Charity had three Trustees – Neil Robinson (Chair). David Lynn (Secretary and Treasurer), and Kyle Craig.
Purpose
The principal purpose of Moldovan Mission is the advancement of the Christian Faith in Moldova according to Biblical principles through encouraging and facilitating religious practice by existing followers or adherents and attracting new followers or adherents. The mission may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in Moldova and/or other parts of the world.
Activities and projects in 2025
In fulfilling its purpose Moldovan Mission continued to engage in a range of activities either on its own or with others that further the goals of God’s purposes for the people of Moldova namely the spreading of the gospel and helping the poor.
Mark McCormick our CEO and principle pastor overseeing the work in Moldova was focused on these two areas in 2025
Although Mari and Mari are now based in England they still travel over to Moldova every 2 months for specific ministry. He continues to participate in the ministry of these pastor/planters in evangelism, training and visiting the poor with them to deliver aid packets as well as a mentoring these men both in personal visits and in regular conversations by whatsapp.
The FRANK evangelism and discipleship project continues to grow with not just the churches of our pastor/planters involved but increasingly more established churches also participating in the project and holding outreach FRANK groups in the homes of believers in their churches. This year around 50 churches took part and over 200 FRANK groups in homes with 1700 FRANKs getting a chance to hear the gospel and over 600 making commitments to Christ
The Lord has given us a vision of planting 200 of the 900+ villages in Moldova that have no evangelical church by the year 2040. This occupies much of our prayers and energy, We estimate we would need to have 60 planters at least in partnership by 2030 to have a reasonable chance of achieving this goal with God’s help.
In 2025 we took on 5 new church planting partners bringing us to 20 planters in partnership
Between us we have planted over 25 churches and started over 24 new works and in 2025 we saw 7 new works started and one other new work become a church (because it now has over 10 members)
Moldova remains Europe’s poorest country and thanks to gifts given by our supporters we were able to help 700 poor families with a food aid pack in 24 different locations many of which were villages where we are just starting a new work – thus for many people it was the first time ever getting such an aid pack and we were also able, with their permission, to share the gospel message. We also helped 70 families in 10 locations with a fuel pack as temperatures got increasingly below -5C thus undoubtedly saving some who otherwise would have died from hypothermia.
Both Costel and Mark continue to visit our partners in situ as well as preaching in their various outreach meetings and training and mentoring these partners.
We have, throughout 2025, continued to support a church in Irpin, Ukraine that we began to help pretty soon after the war started. We send money every 3 months which enables the church there to provide fellowship meals and aid packs to ones who have moved to Irpin because their original homes in other parts of Ukraine have been destroyed or badly damaged – this gives the church there a way of helping practically while ministering to these traumatised souls.
The Trustees have not received any emoluments other than authorised expenses.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT
Report to the Trustees of Moldovan Mission
Charity Number 1166263
On the accounts for the year ended 31st December 2025
Respective Responsibilities of trustees and examiner: The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (The Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:

examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act
-
to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and
-
* to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner’s statement: My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examiner’s statement: In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention
1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the requirements:

to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; and
-
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act have not been
met; or
2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached
