Achievements and Performance
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The purchased and repaired oxygen concentrators and other equipment sponsored by JPIP continued to be in regular use in Jinja during this year, treating children with pneumonia, malaria and sepsis. The maintenance of these machines was ensured due to the prior training that JPIP sponsored for the hospital’s engineers. The trustees of JPIP stayed in regular contact with paediatric medical and nursing staff in Jinja to support their work within the Jinja Nalufenya Children’s Hospital. During this year the activity of JPIP was unfortunately restricted because of Covid related limitations of international travel, and Covid-related additional work duties of the medically trained trustees. |
