CHAIRS REPORT Covering period June 2024 – June 2025
First of all, a big thank you to everyone: to our Treasurer, Vice chair, Secretary and Trustees. To everyone who came to any or all of our events. Without you, we would not exist!
Last year we mentioned the need to establish various policies and get them on the website. We still have work to do in this area.
In 2024 we – and also members of CAH – worked with asylum seekers at the White House hotel. We donated tools and seeds. These were gratefully received.
Liz has kept us apprised of the application and progress of Dawley allotments.
Louise and Lynn have attended a few coffee mornings at Lawley and connections were made. One of these was with the new management of Small Woods Trust who are looking to work with us again….

Our work with the TWCCP seems to have wound down however over the years we have become aware of many people, doing a great many things in many areas. They often have areas of expertise we don’t and importantly, they are also aware of us.
I think one of the highlights will be Rob Hopkins of Transition Town addressing the whole body! I think this shows how far Telford has come as a borough since the beginnings of Transition Telford in 2012.
We are really grateful for the new people who have joined us and we thank Dan, Diane, Hilary Rob and any others who want to join us! We constantly need to be changing to meet the challenges of our ever changing world.
