P8ra 1.17 and 1.19 The prinapal focus of the Charity is to organise events where children and emerging musicians are PFGVtded with opportL*nities to perform in public in Significant venues and alongside professional mu5iCtans. workshops and collaborative performances with professional musicians and emerging artists. Events were held at venue5 induding Gutys Hospital ctr￿pe1 and Southwark Cathedral and involved children from a number of primary schools together with students and early career musiaans. Duringthe year the Charity continued to expand both its geographical reach and the variety of its musical activitie5 through its Oasis and Classical Light programmes. The Oasis programme continued to provide opportunities for children from Southwark and other communities to partiapate in concert5, The Academy project continued to support weekly after-school music teaching and mentoring activities involving local music teathers and university music students. The Trustees are grateful for the continued supportfrom KIn￿S College London towards this work A series of successful Oasis concerts took place during the year including events at Hallsville Primary School, MalmesburyAbbey, Burford Church, Guy's Hospital Chapel and Southwark Cathedral. The Southwark Cathedral event formed part of the BBC "Get singin￿ initiative and involved the largest number of children partiopating in such a projertto date. The CharitVs"Classical Ltghy concerts continued to develop successfully during the year. Concerts were held at Wycliffe College near Stroud, Northleach, Malvern, Burford. Malmesbury and Melton Mowbrdy. These events enabled children and young musicians to perform alongside professional musiciansfrom Orchestra Pro Anima and other established artists. The Melton Prom concert in March 2026, involving approximately ten schools, was particularly successful and generated further support for future activity in the re￿￿on. The Charity also continued to develop partnerships with schools, churthes, festivals. local music organisations and professional musicians. New opportunities are being explored in South London, Oxfordshire and the Foresf of Dean. The Trustees also continued work duringthe year on the developmentof a digital portal intended to supportteachers, schools and parther organisations, widen partiapation and Strengthen the Charity's national profile. P•120 The Charity successfully delivered a wide range of concerts and educational events across London, the Cotswolds, Leicestershire and Gloucestershire. These concerts gave children opportunities to perform in publicwith professional musiaans and to develop musical confidence, communication skills and self- esteem. The Classical knght concerts continued to grow in scale and reputation, with particularly successful events in Northleach, Burford, Malmesbury and Melton Mowbray. The 5outhwark Cathedral Oasis event established an important relationship with the BBC "Get Singing. initiative and demonstrated the Charl￿5 ability to deliver large-scale participatory music events involving substsntial numbers of children. The Charity also strengthened its partnerships with schools, conservatoire students, Orchestra Pro Jjima, churches and community organisations. The Trustees believe that by providing these opportunities the Charity has enabled children and young musicians to widen their horizons, extend their skills and enhance their 5elf-confidence.
