In normal times the principal focus ofthe Charity would be

being a week-long
Festival at the Tower
of London arranged

with Historic Royal
Palaces.
However due to Covid-19 the Festivals
in 2020,| ||||||2021and 2022 could not be held. The Charity had started to| ||||||extend its reach to alternative
venues outside London| ||||||including at the Tall Ships Festival in Gloucester
in 2020.An| ||||||event may be held at the Tower of London
in 2023 but may| ||||||be scaled down.| ||||||The two videos we produced
in 2021continue to be| ||||||available on youtube.
These are 'With her head tucked| ||||||underneath
her arm' and 'Walking
in a Winter Wonderland'.| ||||||Tofulfil our charitable objectives and to give children the| ||||||opportunity
to receive excellent music tuition and to| ||||||experience the thrill ofperforming,
we continued to hold| ||||||events at StGeorge the Martyr
in Southwark
under our| ||||||Oasis Programme.
Although
the programme
was reduced| ||||||due to Covid-19 we were able to deliver a series ofsmall,| ||||||revised Oasis events, involving
early career musicians
and| ||||||children from two primary schools in Southwark. These| ||||||events Inciuded: School visits with two WCM musicians;| ||||||weekly rehearsals ofschool bubble groups
run by an| ||||||experienced
local music teacher; University
students
in| ||||||remote teaching delivery ofgroups ofchildren; a "concert"| ||||||involving
WCM professional
musicians;
an early career| ||||||performing
musician, two music mentors from King's College| ||||||||||London music dept, and socially distanced
children
singing| |---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---| ||||||||||and playing.| ||||||||||Also in Southwark,
we organised
local school children to| ||||||||||perform atthe Dragon Connects Festival in October 2021.| ||||||||||This was agreat success and more than 130children from| ||||||||||three Southwark
schools joined emerging
musicians
and| ||||||||||music students for a day ofconcerts designed to bring the| ||||||||||local community
back together after the Pandemic. We were| ||||||||||delighted
with the success ofthe day which also involved| ||||||||||musicians,
hospital patients, care staff, and local pensioners.| ||||||||||This was a real partnership
between Water City Music, St| ||||||||||George the Martyr and King's College.| ||||||||||In October 2021children
from local Cotswold schools joined| ||||||||||a professional
orchestra,
Orchestra
Pro Anima,
in a very| ||||||||||successful concert in Northleach
Church.
This isthe first| ||||||||||time we have arranged
