## Activities

**Objects:** TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUNG PEOPLE, AGED 25 YEARS OR UNDER, WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE TOWN OF HEXHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN THE COUNTY OF NORTHUMBERLAND ["THE AREA OF BENEFIT"] AND IN PARTICULAR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, DISTRESS AND SICKNESS.

**Activities:** The Hexham Youth Initiative provides a safe environment where children and young people can receive information, advice and support, develop their own projects and play a full and active part in community life.  We run a youth cafe, drop-in sessions and a host of specialist sessions - for example, Duke of Edinburgh, Girls Group, Young Carers as well as providing mentoring and counselling.
