**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING AND INCREASED KNOWLEDGE OF AND PARTICIPATION IN THE ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PEOPLE OF ALL AGES IN DAWLISH AND DISTRICT BY PROVIDING PUBLIC ACCESS TO MUSIC, ART, DANCE, DRAMA, POETRY AND LITERATURE BY PROFESSIONALS AND GIFTED AMATEURS IN WHICH THERE WILL BE EXPERIENTIAL TEACHING AND CRITIQUING TO DEVELOP INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING.

**Activities:** Dawlish Arts Festival holds an annual week long festival in the spring and occasional concerts or other events during the year.   The festival is primarily music, but also includes drama, poetry and literature.  It seeks to bring to the town nationally known performers as well as show case the best local choirs and instrumentalists.  It caters for a large variety of tastes.
