of livrng crisi5 is still with us. FLTndraising rs strll difficult as all areas are havrng to k)ok at *there the priority
is. However. we have still managed to prr4ress in helFNrE others in the community.
We continued Tmth ￿Jr work on the refurbished ktihen atthe WokI￿haM Dwin Cefrtre that we
reated and founded in 2015. and we continueto sup[￿t the work of the Salvatlon Anny by supplying
vitsl goods and monies to support them to help the hon*le55 and those who a￿ vulnerable In our
jciety.
WIN also organi5ed a special commemoration e￿nt kn bcal care homes and elderty. This wasto
mmefftorate D Day. This was attended by many drgnitafies and a th was prtyjuced ofthe event
which was gifted to the l¢xal Wokiwm Town tsJrril for historical record
A further commvnity event was w￿inghaM Pantomime. work with Stsn Hetherington who rur￿ the
Pantomime kniety and were able to seatsto those vulneraFJe In the communtty allowtn8 them to
experience the fun of pantomlme. This w45 a great suc￿5.
Wokingham COMM￿lty Hospttal who have benefitted ourfundrafsing and O￿anIS3￿0nal skills by
prodvcing a wonderful SÈnsory Garden to a5SiStthe wellbeing of patients. staff and member5 of the
pUk￿le who vistt the hosprtsl corrtit7ues tO8fOW. This has been a wonderftsl experience an we have met
many friends on the way. The 8arden is maintained re8ularly by WIN and some wonderfijl helpers from
Dell Technolcgies. We ccmtinueto work wlth the hospital staff and patients to benefft wellbeing.

Need. Your donation5 help us to improve the patient experience and this in tum has a positive effect on
patients journey back to 8ood health.
The amazing comfort bags we reterve from you are so love￿ and are warmly and Bratefully received by
patients who often don't have aryone who can bring them theirdaily essential hygiene items. A lot of
patients are admitted on an emergency basis and being able to give thpm a comfort bag that hos been
put together lovingty by members of our community make5 a big differeijce to patients. Donations such
as y¢Jurs also brings smiles to staff members who see first-hand the pos¢tNe @ffect of giving a comfort ba
to a pattent. Although the hospital doe5 have basic supplies ol wash items, however. Item5 received from
Wokingham In Need are of lovety qualrty and quantrty a￿1 this is something extra special for a patient
that Is only made p055rble by donations such as yours.
The knrtted and crocheted kerns for adults and babies you provide is Simp￿ wonderful and we thank you
wholeheartedly forthese donations as rt bring5 a t0￿h of home comfort to an othe￿ise clinical
enwronment.
Vour donations of toys are dtstributed to the Manychild￿n's area5 thr¢xJghcNJt the hosprtal helplng to
ensure the￿ is a good suppty of toysforchildren to use whilst tr￿ are ertheran inpatient or in
outpatients.
Yot&r donations really do make a diffelence to the Servi￿ we provide at Royal Berkshire Hospital and we
truty value and appreciate your knndness and support in helping us make our hosprtal more
fnendlier. We would not be able to provide this type ofservice wthoutyour help.
