Trustees Statement Year Endi

2021
Wokingham In Need has been ex￿ptionallY actlve over this past year because of the CovTrd-19
pandemit. We found this especially difficult as we were unable to move forward wrth our nom7al
fvndraising activities. However, we have progressed with two major projects this being the Senwry
Garden for adults wlth learnlng disabilitie5 at The Acom centre in Wokingham and a Refurbished
Kltchen and Shower Room at the Wokin8ham In Need Drop In Centre at the Salvation Armv.
Our main aim is to protect the Homelessand Vulnerable wlthin our communtyarrfl therefore we have
reached OLrt to assist in many areas.
One sad set back during the pandemic was the unexperted passin8 of our T￿asurer. Margaret
Balaam. Her dedication to other5 was outstanding and she was always there to listen to those who
had a problem. The partnership with Wokingham In Need goes back many yeats and Mar8aret was
an artive member of our 8roup. We all miss her and her words of expertlse.
Q￿Su￿￿rterS. Our achievements would not have been possible wlthout the generoslty of the
public, companies, fundlng groups and volunteers and we would espe¢ialty Ilke to thank:
