The trustees listed above were elected by a biannual (every two year5) vote of the ecclesial
membership in October 2022.
The Charit¢s governing document is a Constitution modified and approved by all members of the
Ecclesia on 28th August 2022. The trustees consist of the Secretary, Assistant Secretary and
Treasurer and other members of the Arranging Committee. The election of members to act as
trustees is by nornination and secret ballot which all members of the Eccle5ia are entitled to
participate in.
The Work of the Chari
This is defined as:
To further the spiritual grovrth of the members
Promote Bible based Christianity within Worcester, and throughoutthe UK
Support other charitable organisation5 of a Christian nature or as seen fit by the Eccle5ia.
The Ecclesia held weekly servi￿5 on a Sunday and Thursday throughout 2024, both in the hall and
on-line via Zoom as well as Otherservices. preaching and social activities. A small Sunday School and
monthly Toddler Group took place. A51 activities were open to the public, with the exception of the
Quarterly and Annual Business meetings. We continue to support a small number of Iranian
refugees both as members and non members.
Membership was 83 at the start of the year and 82 atthe end of the year.

Poll Documents
The Ecclesia has a Health and Safety Policy, and a Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy which
requires all trustees and eccleslal volunteers to be DBS che¢ked on a regular basis. Fire Safety and
insurance requirements are also complied with. We a150 hold yearly refresher sessions on Child and
Vulnerable Adult Protection which members attend on the day or encouraged to review the session
notes online after the event.

Isu
Income is derived primarlly from member donations, covenants, and Gift Aid and all the work of the
Ecclesla is conducted on a voluntary bas15. Most of the Ecclesia's actlvitie5 are provided free of
charge to members and non-members alike. We have procedures in place to ensure that travel and
financial expenses are covered. Money Is distributed from the ecclesia to other Christadelphian
charities as well as local and national charities we are happy to help, such as Worcester Foodbank,
Maggs Day Centre, St Richard's Hospice, Samarttans and Mcmillan. We also 5UPPOrt our members
In need.
With regard to the Ecclesial finances, the trustees remaln of the opinion that the balance of funds
In hand on 31st December 2024was satisfactory, and that the current level of recelpts and payments
are Such that the Charity can contlnue to function durlng the coming year.

We allocate specific activities and workstreams to our Arranglng Committee With a vlew to sharing
the workload and ensuring that all our activities, are specifically approved by the Committee. The
Arranging Committee have also taken the vlewthat Preaching, Welfare and Youth activities should
have additional input from the wider Ecclesia and each now has a'specific sub-committee reporting
back to the Arranging Committee.
We thank our Heavenly Father for all hls continued blessings as we strlve to serve Him and thank all
those who have participated In and supported the work of the ecclesia in the past year.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31 December 2024.** 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or 

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or 

- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
