The day to day management of activities of the Church is carried out by
TrusteeslElders in Gonjunction with appointed D8acons and committees in
which other church members may participate.
The Elders and Deacons hold regular meetings lo discuss the wellbeing of
the church and the activities planned. These meetings include reviews of
finance. outreach work in the community, teaching in the church and
general pastoral issues.
In addition, the Elders hold regular meetings to discuss spiritual issues,
Ihe appointment of deacons and the recognition of Elders.
Accounls are produced on a monthly basis by the Treasurer and are
reviewed by the Elders and Deacons An update on Fund balan￿5 is
provided by the Treasurer lo Elders and Deacons and these accounts are
available lo all church members.
The Church has a Safeguarding Policy relating to Children, Young People
and Vulnerable Adults.
The Church has a Health & Safety Policy and regular checks are made lo
ensure this policy is maintained.

During the year we have continued our activities bolh within the church
and the wider communty. This includes our worship services, teaching
and prayer.
We have been able to continue contact wrth the local community with
Mums & Toddlers Club. Kids Club and Youth Club. These weekly
events have been advertised in our regular newsletters and have proved
very popular.

In addition to work in the immediate localty we have encouraged
children and young people, both in the church and from the events we
run, to attend events held under the auspir£s of other Churches of God
in the Fellowship. These events included a regional summer camp and
intemational youth fellowship rally.
Statement of Public Benefft
All Trustees are aware of the Chartties Acts public benefit requiremenls
so that the purposes and activities of the Ghurch are geared to meeting
those requirements as well as the spiritual needs of the public as an
expression of the Statement of Faith in the Trust Model.
The neightKJunng communty may benefrt from the promotion of the
Christian farth and the promotion of church fellowship.

It is our policy to make financial contributions to other activities of
Churches of God in the UK and throughout the world as spiritual and
social needs arise.
The charity has no employees, all work, practical and spiritual is done
by volunteer members of the churth.

Achievements and performance
COMMUNITY EVENTS
We have held social events at the ARCC to which the communty are invited, along with our
local outreach meetings each Sunday aftemoon.
We also attended Pype Hayes Park this year each Sunday aftemoon in June, advertising who
we were as a church and what we offer the community.
Each week, y￿ather pennitting, we visit the local high street shopping centre offering free
Christian literature and the Chan￿ to Ghat, for adults and ¢hildren.
In the lead up to Christmas we held a Light Up event, with visitors experiencing a time of
socialising wrth friends, and a choice of activities for the children to enjoy. We also had
workshop for local ladies who tried their hand at Christmas Wreath making.
MUM'S & TODDLERS
A small number of church members and local ¢ommunity members organise Tumbles, a stay
and play group every Tuesday moming during term time for preschool children and their
parentslcarers. It is well attended and we often have families on the wailing list as Y￿11. It is a
relaxed and friendly group offering families a chance to chat whilst supervising their children
playing. We provide refreshments at snack time, a craftlsensorylquiet zone activity and
singinglbubble time.

YOUTH VIORK
During 2025 our 'Potterfs Clay. group for teenage church thiklren has continued to meet
monthly.
Our communty youth work continues with separate groups for under and over age ten.
These dubs have enat￿ed children to come together to participate in games, sports, craft.
singing and bible stories. Many of the chiklren aThY their families have attended other thurch
activities.

Financial review
The funds of the church are held under the following headings..
UNRESTRICTED
General Expenses
This fund covers all general expenses of the running of ¢hurch activilies.
Local Outreach
This fund covers the cost of equipment and literature for outreach in the
community.
Youth Work
This fund covers the cost of equipment. transport to events and camp
subsidies.

This fund is used to help those in financial need both for members of the
hurch and those in the wider local Community. Families of Tumbles
children have been supported with food and household items during the
year.
RESTRICTED
Hall Development
This fund is used to further develop and maintain the usefulness of the
church building.
Legacle8
No legacies have been received during 2025.
Lord's Sep4ants
All the money in this fund is gifted to full time evangelists working
amongst the Fellowship of Chur¢hes of God and to their widows where
appropriate.
Appeals
From lime to time there are special appeals for which collections are
made. During the year this included gifts to our sister churches in
Nottingham and Swindon to help fund their rebuild projects.

It is the Trustees, policy to maintain a positive balance in each fund.
The unrestricted funds are conSide￿d by Ihe Twstees and
acknowledged by donors that they may, in the event of extreme expense,
be used for any purpose. For management purposes they are kept
separate and reviewed as though they were separate.
The restn¢ted funds must be used for the designated purpose only.
All funds are now held in a current ac¢ount with Lloyds Bank plc.

Receipts and donations to the funds are mainly from church members,
either weekly via the collection box, directly lo the church bank account
through Faster Payment or via the Churches of God Central Gifts Fund
in conjunction with gift aid.
Normal expenditure has been covered by local church members.
Local Outreach and Youth Wort( funds have supported activities among
the local community.
We encourage support for 'TOY-LINK', the Toys for Christmas initiative
run by Birmingham City Mission.
