Act2011.
London Child￿n.$ Ballet meets the d8finition of a public benefit entity under FRS 102. Assets and liabilities are initialty recognised
at historical cost or transaction value unless oth?￿se stated in the relevant accounting policy notelsl.
In the application of the CIO'S 8ccounts.ng ptsliei8s, the trustees are requi￿ to mak& judgements, estimates and assurnptions about
the carying amount of assets and liabilities that a￿ not readily apparent from other sourc8s. The estimates and associated
assumptions are b8s8d on historical experience and other factors that 8re consid8r8d to be relevant. Actual results rnay differ from
these estimates.
The estimates and underfying assumptions are ￿VieWed on an ongoing basis. Revisions to the accounting estsmates are
recognised in the period In which the estimate is ￿vISed where the revision affects only that period. or in the period of the revision
and futur8 Pgriods where th* rèvision affects both currenl and future periods.
The financial ststements have departed from the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulabtsn 2008 only to the extent required to
provide a tN8 and fair vi8w. This departure has involved following the Statern&nt of R8comm8nded Practice for Charities applying
FRS 102 rather than the version ol the Ststement of Recommended Practice which is referred to in the Regulations. but which has
since been withdrawn.
The financial statements are prepa￿￿ Sterfing, which ks the functs'onal currency of the CIO. Monetary amounts in these finan￿al
