The trustees present Iheir wth the financ)￿ staiements ofthe tharity for the year ended 31 December 2024. The

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objectives and aims
The objeclwe of the charity is Ihe ￿lEf of Ihe financBI hardship awM)ng people sufferirg from cancer through the
provision of grants.
The Trustees are a¥Yare of the Charity Commission ￿hlance on public benefit and therefore look to ensure their
a¢tivrties and grants promded n*et thts guidan￿ togetherV￿th the obpctNes set out in the Trust Deed.
ile continuing to try to raise lunds, the charity Injslees hlenbfied Ihat ihe ￿nt o)st of living crisis and change in
people's sorioeconornic status. led to a ieducxl level of donati(￿$ and response io ftjnd raising events. This idenbfied
the requirement for a shift in fund raising channels and me1￿j$.
This so00ecor￿MIc status led to an ir￿ease in grant applK8tion5 and therebre deffHnd on th8rity resouros and as
the charity continues to be run voluntarily, relth.ons ￿ business sp￿)$or$ to help raise its profile and finanaal income
was a key target due lo their financK?I positKJn compared with individuals and their desire to raise their ovm profile in
tum by supporting chartt*s. Business sponsorships ￿11 L* a key focus in U)e coming year.
Merchandise st￿k levels are su￿ent￿ dNerse frJkwiTrJ the frKus on expandirrfJ the online shop in previous years.
however sales have been loww than wedided. therefore invèntory levels remain hNJh. A drive to sell nM)re is a f￿uS
forthis next financkil year and social wll be channelkd for Ihis.
We now have a new charity Fa￿bc￿s(. buf we havenl been able lo W back the saffe number of folk*wers that we had
with the original one. We did not do any of OUF own events as this is our main way tsf advertising rt and we We￿ nervous
that any evenl would not be well aitended. This is an iffwrtanl fcus to resurrect the number of foik)wers as thi5 IS
key Channel lor event and brand awa￿￿e$S.
The monthly lottery conb.nues to be a steady incorrE the chanty, though membership has plateaued. We have
had a few new member5 but then sorre drop off. At the rTrJment rfs stea(ty.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Charitsble activities
The thanty raised £1,635 in the w10d12￿23- £2,532). Gift aha was £2.754 so £4,389 in the period in total.
The charity donated £7.942 to S faMil￿S 12023 - £11.￿￿ to 6 farYulEsl. ￿ have seen a huge increase in people
requesting financial support as we seern to be on fTurr*rous tsncer fonJnL%. It was realty hard to keep on top of, so we
still have a waiting list. We did think this was just temporary. but il did not ease and carred on throughout 2024. We try
to give peop￿ apptying rTK)re tirlle to get appliG4tion5 bad( to us as we undetstatKI that when a patient is under90￿g
treatrnent it ran be very tiring we rTHy need to Feduce Ihs time in orderto try and help other5 on the list.
