- To promote religious harmony for the public benefit by fostering knowledge, mutual understanding, and respect for the beliefs and practices of diverse religious faiths.

- To foster social inclusion for the public benefit by collaborating with socially excluded people in London and other parts of the UK who are marginalized due to their ethnicity and Muslim faith. ## **Current Projects**

1. Adult classes face-face: Shura Trust organizes and supports classes of learning in 9 cities of the UK, those are London, Brighton, Leicester, Coventry, Oxford, Cambridge, Ipswich, and Edinburg. After the restrictions of Covid 19 were lifted, face-to-face classes started again.

2. Online classes: Online classes initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic continue with increasing interest. They are more convenient for some of the participants.

3. Online Book Shop: The online book shop continues and is a good portal for sales of resources that we use in our reading circles.

4. Reading retreats: Due to the pandemic, our reading retreats were not conducted faceface until the restrictions were lifted. Instead, we organized online retreats for our participants.

5. New Premise: 128 Percy Road, Leicester. We have initiated the process of purchasing our first premise in Leicester. The purchase was made with a total cost of £183k. A fundraising campaign was made to secure the purchase. From last year’s fundraising, we already had £110k of our funds and £40k interest-free loan. With the grace of Allah, our fundraising has been successful. The process of purchase is still processing with the lawyers’ correspondence.

## **Future Strategy**

- The charity plans to continue the above activities in the forthcoming years.

- Refurbishment will be made in the new premise (128 Percy Road), subject to donations.

- Sessions for ladies will be maintained in the new premise and suitable council rooms.

- Premises will be rented in London to maintain activities.
