## **Objective** 

The prevention or relief of poverty in particular but not exclusively in Bangladesh by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty. 

## **Trustees** 

Abdur Rohim, Ashraf Ali, Abul Kahir Ujjal, Ashik Ali, Farid Miah, Mohammed Rofique, Muzibul Alam, Shohidul Islam, Shahin Uddin, Sadeque Ahmed, Taj Uddin, Tahir Miah and Abdul Khalid (Kashem). 

## **Funding** 

For the current year, as well as fund raising from trustees and members, we have been approaching a wider network for funds. We have also been using online fund-raising pages via Total Giving, specific appeal for global disaster events, Boat Race events which have proved to be quite successful. There are plans hold other fund-raising events also. 

## **Charity activity for the year:** 

Because of the legacy funds remaining from previous year, we have successfully executed a number of House building projects, Tube Well projects, Sanitation projects, Flood Relief package distribution projects and increased amount of food package distributions.
