## **Objective** 

The prevention or relief of poverty in particular but not exclusively in Bangladesh by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

## **Funding** 

For the current year, as well as fund raising from trustees and members, we have been approaching a wider network for funds. We have also been using online fund-raising pages via Total Giving, collection at Masjid and Cultural Centres, specific appeal for global disaster events, Boat Race events which have proved to be quite successful. There are plans hold other fund-raising events also. 

## **Charity activity for the year:** 

Because of the legacy funds remaining from previous year, we have successfully executed a number of House building projects, Tube Well projects, Sanitation projects, Flood Relief package distribution projects and increased amount of food package distributions.
