Advancement of the Orthodox Christian Faith through provision of a church, liturgical worship, support for Orthodox educational activities, and cooperation with the wider Orthodox community. Pastoral care and response to enquirers are provided by clergy (unpaid) in conjunction with the charity.
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are By Such Means As Are Charitable In Law For The Public Benefit To Advance The Orthodox Christian Faith Within The Town Or City Of Fakenham And The Adjacent Counties And In Particular But Without Limitation: 1 To Maintain Or Assist In Maintaining A Church Building Or Churches Where Canonical Orthodox Liturgical Worship Is Celebrated In Accordance With The Canon Law Of The Orthodox Church.2 To Provide For The Promotion And Teaching Of The Orthodox Christian Faith Through The Activities Of Properly Constituted Parishes And Eucharistic Communities3 To Provide Or Assist In Providing A Church Or Churches And Liturgical Items (Including Icons. Vestments,plate, Candles And Other Consumables Etc) In Which And For Which Canonical Orthodox Christian Worship May Be Celebrated In Accordance With The Traditions Of The Orthodox Church4 To Receive And Safeguard Any Moneys Collected By Orthodox Christian Parishes, Eucharistic Communities Or Individuals, Or Monies Donated To Any Such Body, And Designate Those Funds For The Purchase Of Consumables, Liturgical Items, Services Or Property For The Furtherance Of The Orthodox Christian Faith Life Of Those Parishes, Communities Or Individuals
