|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or services<br>identified in the accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|The charity carries out a wide range of activities<br>in pursuance of its charitable aims.<br>The trustees consider that these activities<br>summarised below, provide benefit both to those<br>who attend our Organisation and the wider<br>Community of Northampton.<br>Religious Activities<br>Nurullahi Muslim community provides a centre for<br>worship and prayers and other activities<br>associated with the Islamic faith.<br>For the period of the year under review, we<br>presented a range of services and activities.<br>Festivals: Foods and drinks are available for any<br>members of the community to celebrate Eid.<br>More so, during Ramadan plenty of foods, fruits,<br>and drinks are provided for any members of the<br>public that want to break their fast.<br>**Civil marriage and Nikah**<br>Nurullahi Muslim Community provide Muslims<br>couples with an appropriate support and avenue<br>to carry out their Nikah during the year under<br>review.<br>Hifz Classes:<br>Teaching and learning to memorise the Quran is<br>regarded as an important element of Islamic<br>religious education and moral training. We<br>continue to make available this class for young<br>people in Northampton. We are very glad this<br>programme continues to run successfully with<br>over 30 young people still attending till date.<br>**Programme on the Qur'an:**<br>We carry out a full Quranic recitation every<br>quarter to help members and the public to get a<br>crystal-clear understanding of Quran teaching.<br>Islamic awareness:|





|||we hold public lectures by bringing external<br>lecturers that are well qualified Islamic scholars;<br>where members and community at large are<br>invited to listen and ask a question on general<br>Islamic teaching.<br>**Zakat:**<br>This is one of the important pillars of our faith. It's<br>said that whoever can give charity should give it.<br>Money is collected under the principle of Islamic<br>teaching by those that have the means. The<br>collected money is used for a number of specific<br>reasons, such as helping others. A Muslim need<br>not give their Zakat to Nurullahi Muslim<br>Community, but we do provide an opportunity for<br>those who want to contribute to giving theirs and<br>we arrange its distribution for approved<br>purposes.<br>**Community Activities**<br>Our rented community hall provides a valuable<br>educational and recreational avenue to all in our local<br>communitycentre|

We have prepared the finacial statements of NURULLAHI MUSLIM COMMUNITY NORTHAMPTON
for the year ended 31st December 2022 in accordance with the finacial reporting framework of
United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice .
This report is made solely to the charitable section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 and regulation
made under Section 154 of the act.The Trustees are responsible for preparation of finacial
statement5 and for being satisfied that they give a true and fair view.

I.ACCOUNTING POLICIES
(a) Basis of preparation
The financial statements have been prepared under the historic cost convention and applicable UK
Accounting Standard5 and the Charities Act 1993.
The finacial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of recommneded
Pratice'.Accounting and Reporting by Charities ISORP20051issued in March 2005.
{b} Funds structure
Unrestricted income funds comprise those funds which the trustees are free to use for any purpose in
furtherance of the charitable objects.
Unrestrirted funds include designated fund5 where the trustees. at their discretion,
have set aside resources for a specific purpose.or under the term5 for public collection of Zakat
Restricted funds are funds which are to be used in accordance with specific restrictions imposed by the
donor or the terms of a specific appeal in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
(c) IncominE resources
All incoming resources are recognised once the charity has entitlement to the resources,or it is certain
that the resource5 will be received and the monetary value of incoming resources can be measured
with sufficient reliability applied to particular categories of activities.
(d) PAYMENT FOR EXPENSES
Liabilitie5 are recognised as resources expended 35 soon as there is a legal or constructive related to
the create obligation committing the charity to the expenditure.
All expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and ha5 been classified under headings that
aggregate all costs.
