The oty'eclives of the charty have been to continue and deepen the
charrty's abilty to help children in Bhutan either from disathantaged rural
areas or with speafic mental or physical disabilities. The primary way to
achieve these objectives is through achievable, tangible educational and
medional inrtiattves, working in collaborab'on with existing Bhutanese
strudures. Working with such partner organisations enables Opening
your Heart to Bhulan to ensure its projects or donated assets reach
larger groups of thildren most effeth'vely.

The Opening your Heart to Bhutan activities improve lrfe opportunities for
disabled andlor disadvantaged children in poor rural schools. Inrtiatives
can indude the installation of clean water fitters in schools, the support of
young blind musicians at the Blind Musicians training centre in Thimpu.

supporting educational materials for the two Vocatiorwl Training schools

for the services of Ugyen Tshering. a Bhutanese atizen. Ugyen works on
selfemployed basis, is fluent in English and has a background in the
voluntary sector.

accounts in attordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011

I report in respecl of my examination of the TrusY$ accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charty Commission
under section 145151{b} of the Act.
