Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

Charitable activity remains low, not having recovered from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some face to face meetings with participants have restarted, but take up remains very low. Leader training has continued -albeit at a lower level than pre pandemic and very little use was made of the expedition equipment store. Use of the hardship funds either has restarted, albeit at a lower level than before COVID-19. During the year the charity continued to honour its financial commitments with respect to insurance, DofE licences and rental for the equipment store as detailed in the treasurer’s report. We continue to help DofE participants via a virtual service, hoping to resume face to face meetings and expeditions in the near future.
