||Humber conservation volunteers (HCV) has continued to support projects<br>for the benefit of the public.<br>HCV continues to work closely with PRAX Linsey Oil refinery on annual<br>maintenance of Burkinshaws Covert woodland. Although this land is not<br>open fully to the public it provides a much-needed conduit for the area’s<br>flora and fauna and limited public access is available to interest groups<br>and a Forest School. HCV has worked to enable access for the school.<br>HCV has one community project at Littlecoates Academy. With help from<br>VANEL we have brought a disused area back to life where the children<br>plant trees and care for the environment.<br>East Halton marshes where HCV have continued to work with Able<br>making repairs to drainage valves, grass cutting, and thistle control work.<br>This work was to promote a habitat for wading birds.<br>HCV members used their skills and qualifications to assist with public<br>access and habitat management on a local project at the Barrow Blow<br>Wells Nature Reserve.|

The ongoing woodland activities in Burkinshaws Covert has benefitted **Summary of the main** the natural environment of this area and helped facilitate access and **achievements of the charity** activities of the Forest School. The Littlecoates school pupils, families **during the year** and staff have benefited from an outdoor activity, education and improved natural environment.
