The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2022. The trustees who served during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page 1.
Structure, Governance and Management
Currently the internal and financial controls are overseen by volunteers and trustees.
Fundraising Strategy
This high priority goal has been achieved through fund raising events, donations and member subscriptions.
Objectives and activities
One of the SALSABEEL FOUNDATION’S objective is to provide good citizenship to our society through the teaching of Quran ( The book God) Assunnah ( The teaching of The Prophet (SAW)). There were religious talks and activities for adults and kids to achieve the above goal. Following activities are being organised:

Weekly Maths, Science, English and Arabic Class for 10 - 16 years boys and girls.

Ramadan Services
Weekly classes for youths to make them aware of the importance of coexistence in a multi cultural society and quarterly classes for men and women.
Eid festivals are organised so that an environment is created amongst the community to get together and enjoy with a sense of being part of our society.
We have created a good relationship with similar charity organisations in England in order to share ideas and to raise funds
We have had special events organised during Ramadan period.
Achievements and Performance
We are currently operation at 50 Wessex way, Maidenhead, SL63DH. The user number has been increased as local residences welcome us and our service. There were number of fundraising events for humanitarian aids. .

Statements of trustees' responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the trustees' Annual Report and financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity for that year. In preparing these financial statements the trustees are requires to

Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;

observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP;

Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;

State whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to any materials departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements; and

Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 1993 and Charity (Annual and Reports) Regulations 2008. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other.
