The funds raised have in the past been used to deliver mentor programmes into schools that are significantly lacking funding, are in underprivileged areas, where academic performance is very poor, where there are no real role-models in sport, business or other areas. During the period in question, one of the charity’s key volunteers left, and the trustees have put the charity’s activities on hold and are currently considering the future of the charity including whether to spend out the funds and close down. |
