The charity activities are greater than last year since we have re-located our new temple in Plaistow :-

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

After relocated to the new temple, we have hosted 5 events over the 7 months as per below: 11/11/2021 to 25/11/2021 - Master Lu Condolences Period 14/11/2021 - Temple 6th Anniversary 01/02/2022 - Chinese Lunar New Year 15/02/2022 - Lantern Festival 21/03/2022 - Guan Yin Bodhisattva Birthday 

FREE Vegetarian event aims to educate the public regarding the benefits of a healthy diet. This type of event is a good opportunity to promote temple activities and enhance religious harmony, equality, diversity and peace to other local communities as well as new members. We aim to do these type of event regularly in the near futurer.

## **Financial review** 

Overall, we have maintain a healthy financial position, as we have regular **Brief statement of the** donations from volunteers and members, no loan or debt taken in the **charity’s policy on reserves** year and we have no intention to do so in the next 12 months. None of the Trustees were reimbursed out of pocket expenses and 3 of the Trustees donated a total of £1140 over the financial year. £1550 deficit this financial year, this is only the case of relocating to start up a new temple incurs one off expenditures apart from regular expenses such as agent fees, lawyer fees and renovation expenses. **Details of any funds materially in deficit** We are looking better in the next financial year and planning to made a donation to a charity organisation in the UK to support peoples who is in need.

Sources of Fund: No government Grant, mainly relied on Donations from members and public, we would only have expected people to donate after they have benefited from our help and Buddhism teaching promoted, hence no street raising fund events have ever been held.
