sections of the organisation comply with the requirements to become an

This year we were atle to be fully operational
The focus of our adivtties is the promotion of amateur sport throLrgh the
prowsion of facilthes for football and assoaated leisure activits'es and
coaching for the benefrt of the inhabitants of Chester-le-streel and
surrounding areas.
A programme of coaching atxiwtses is undertaken to develop practical
skills, self confidence. soaal and lrfe skn'lls.
We welcome all people wsthout dists"ncts"on of sex. sexual orientation,
natsonalrty, aje. disabilty, race or of polits'cal religious or othef opinions.

The age range that we work with is ttheen 6 - 18 for male and female
youth engagement, and 18+ for ajult. Male & Female
Walking Football is currenly Adutt Male age group 60 + and we will
continue to Iixjk towards embraang Female category into this type of
engagement
Limited Support is to be given to a student of local school wtth pr&#ical
examples to aid their project and give them some work experience.
Examples being Coaching of Y￿ngsterS and Adums - Working with
Expenenced coaches to cover an age range to gain insight into how the
coach operates and works with Playe￿ This is likely to continue in the
next year

Volunteers are at the heart of our organisalion both on the ¢)>aching side
and in the general management of the organisats'on. All trustees I
volunteers I coaches give their time voluntarily and receive no payment
or other beneffts

put in by all the volunteers and general manageff*nt to ensure the
organisatTron as a whole deliver qualty to all gfOUPS, Without these people

interest from a deFQSit arxount is so minimal it is not viable to transfer
any surplus to such an acEount

during the year
The main achie%Ement was to be alle to L7>ntinue to operate the new
dub headquarters for a se(x)nd consecutive year The dubhouse not only
supported the football sde of the dub but reathes out to other
organisth'ons wrthin the locality and be avalable to the local communty
for a range of acaimties e.g. Birthday parties, fundraisers, Funeral wakes,
I￿al band practI￿s. LC￿al Drama and Operatic sooety Company
meetings . and use by training organisations I companies to train their
employees
We also engaged with two organisations who are linked to Suicide
P￿VentIon
The partnership with Waldridge Park Youth FC did not progress as
expected in the year and the asscci*'on was ended in April 2024
On the post11￿ side Chester le Street Town Youth began to increase in
numbers wtlh the emergence of a Girts Wild Cats progamme which
hopefully leads to fonnation of teams for U7 Girfs plus and U10 girfs team
joined
Towards the end the period 2 boys teams i)ined the sethon
The world energy crisis also affected the organisotion and costs have
increased dramats'cally for Gas aectri(* and Water- with the costs
being manag￿j through the peri￿1
