Dar Al-Hadi Foundation , 2A Higher Ardwick, Manchester M12 6BZ, is registered with the charity commissioners ( No 1165684 ) as Charitable Incorporated Organisation ( “the CIO” ) . The charity is administrated by management committee , comprising

The objects of the CIO are:
The advancement of Islamic religion including the teaching of the Ahlulbayt twelve Imams and religious education. To act as a resource for young people by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of: Advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals; Advancing education; Preserving and protecting good health and relieving poverty; Providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of such life.
To nurture the integration of Muslim community into the wider British society through education, joint ventures and mutual understanding of the common denominators between the two.
The advancement of Muslim women roles in society through training , mentoring, and social and sports activities,
To fight radicalism and fanatic attitudes and teachings through the reflection of the peaceful and tolerant nature of Islam and good citizenship responsibilities.
The relief and assistance of people in any part of the world who are the victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe.

To achieve the objects, the charity carried out the following : A- Educational Programmes :
The centre is opened usually three days a week plus dates where there are special occasions. There are three programmes for men , women and children . The programme is usually of educational and social nature. The recreational activities are run during religious festivals and include competition , poetry, speeches and songs. All these activities are done by the members of the community and according to their talents. The people who are running educational programmes including religious teaching are specialist in their field.
As members of our organisation are drawn from various backgrounds and work on voluntary basis we are able to allocate topics according to their speciality. Doctors provide health promotion, psychologists on family and relationship issues, teachers on education system and examination techniques and so on. We provide a regular educational sessions for adults and young people regarding issues like citizenship, the teaching of Islam regarding respect of other faiths and obeying the law of the land.
We invite clergymen from UK and abroad who are scholars and well known speakers during religious festivals. Most of them are graduate from religious schools or universities. Everyone is invited to social activities whether they attend to pray and receive religious education or not. They can bring their friends from various religious ,social or cultural background. Half or more of our attendees are women and girls . We provide health promotion lectures about women health, encourage women to attend English language lessons at the colleges, provide them with guidance about dealing with statutory bodies like health and education. We also invite speakers to talk about family issues like domestic violence.
We usually advertise our activities through text messages, e.mails, website , whataspp, social media and word of mouth.
B-Youth programmes
We run the following activities for young people but not on daily basis : Football games supervised by registered coaches. Cookery and cake making classes. Visiting local attractions. Games and activities inside the building like table tennis. We use qualified youth workers who are CRB certified . We do not charge for our activities . The cost is provided by donations to the centre in general or to special activities or projects.
