The objects of the Charity are the relief of young people between the ages of 5-20 wlth disabilities
andlor special needs by the provision of faclllties and inforn)atlon for recreation or other leisure
time occupatlon. in particular through the provision of skiing actmties. in the interests of soclal
welfare and with the object of Improving the condltlon of life of such persons.
SPENSOL'S main actlvity is the annual Ski Trip to Prato Nevoso in Italy arKI whllst charltable status
was only athieved in 2016. the first Surrey Special Needs ski journey took plao in 1998.

The Continuing challenges around the Global COVID-19 Pandemlc meant that once agaln the
Annual Ski-trip to Prato Nevoso could not 80 ahead. Desptte the understsndable reasons, thls
remains a cause of huge disappointment to the trustees and to the schools that usually
participate it is ￿ped that the 24 Annual trip will take place in January 2023.
In normal times, the trips are funded by a comblnatlon of parental contrlbution, school
fundraising and SPENSOL grants. SPENSOL raises funds from dlrect grants. donatlons and fund-
ralslng events. SPENSOL does not have any employees and does not expect to require any* It Is
run throu8h the voluntary help of the trustees and sub-committee members. SPENSOL Is very
gratefvl to all those who gNe their time for the benefit of youn8 people wlth dlsabllltles.

In accordance wlth Charity Commission requirements. the tntrs and executlve committee
members are responsible for keepin8 proper accounting records which dlsclose, wlth reasonable
accuracy at any tlme. the financial position of the organiiation. They are also ￿ponSIble for
safeguarding the assets of the assoclation and hence for taklng ￿asonable steps for the
prevention and detection of fraud and other I￿gUlarItieS.
The tru5tee5 and executive commlttee have prepared the statements for the current perlod on a
Recelpts and Payments basls. Ary resep4es are used forthe On801￿ activities of the organization
in fvrtherance of its charltable objectfves.
Results forthe ￿ar
In the perlod to 31° March 2022 the charlty had recelpts from donatlons of £415 and made
payments of £96 for adminlstration and operniln8 expenses. The financial ststements accompany
the Trustees Report.
