The Charity was set up with the objective of providing relief for people in poverty. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
Over the period April 2021 and March 2022, the charity has undertaken some fundraising activity totalling just over £6000 we have used this income to develop continue the project in the Gambia that will support locals who ordinarily wouldn’t have access to education to learn new skills. Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The charity has made steady progress in terms of developing its structures. We have been working to generate income through fundraising and donations that will allow our work to continue. The project we are developing will provide education to over 100 children and young people and will also provide housing for infants who have been orphaned. The project is well underway but still has some way to go before it is complete.

We still are having an issue with setting up a bank account this year but applied and sent the info to COOP bank. The issue at times is to all be together and sign documents to smoothen the process as not everything was online.

The charity has not yet begun to function as we would like it too, this is a working progress. I also saw we are missing some procedures which I was not aware of. We will review this in our next meeting.
