Food Bank, Education and Training (e.g. numeracy and literacy classes), Training for Life Programmes including understanding Universal Credits and Budgeting, CV writing and basic IT skills, Holiday Clubs, Sports and Recreational activities for the Youth, Supporting the Elderly (Befriending Scheme), Health and Wellbeing Programmes, Nursery Play Groups and Mum and Toddler Groups.
Objects: 1. The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty In The Byker Area Of Newcastle And The Surrounding Area By: (A) The Provision Of Grants, Items And Services To Individuals In Need And/or Charities, Or Other Organisations Working To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty; And(b) The Provision Of Social Care And Support Services And Projects.2. To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Byker, Newcastle And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.
