Objectives and Activities
Summary of Objectives: The relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage living in Bangladesh/Africa and such other parts of the world as the trustees shall from time to time determine. Summary of Activities: Shukran Foundation in the year 2023 was involved in many activities including some of the following: Clothing for the poor Livelihood grants Education fees for under 16's Housing and shelter
Summary of Achievements:
During the year 2023 Shukran Foundation achieved the following

Built a single bedroom houses for in Somalia for a widow with children. House was completed with brick walls and tin roof with basic doors and windows.

Shukran also contributes approx. £1200 for school fees and books for underprivileged children in Bangladesh.

Shukran made grants of approx. £2700 for livelihood (general living) and medical expenses.
Financial Review:
For the period 01 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 the charity received £9,813.47 in donations and spent £8,255.81 on charitable activities.

Future Plans:
Shukran Foundation’s plan to utilise social media for raising funds has not materialised mainly due to the costs of funding these projects. Currently our donors are primarily family and friends, although our aim is to expand this group in the future.
Our aim is to help improve the lives of people in Africa and Asia and work for a just and tolerant society.
