Activities

Clearly Cool Clubs welcome children, young people/Adults from Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties, who have a range of disabilities and special needs, in particular, those with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and wide range of associated difficulties, to enjoy, games activities and Clubs, promoting friendship, confidence and positive self-esteem. We are currently rebuilding face to face provision

Objects: The Following Objects Are For The Benefit Of Children And Young People Aged From 0 To 25 Years In And Around Buckinghamshire And The Surrounding Counties, Including But Not Limited To Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire And Wiltshire, Who Have Any Disability Including Physical Or Mental Impairment, Special Needs, Including Special Educational Needs, And Any Medical, Social, Emotional Or Learning Difficulty Which Has An Adverse Effect On Their Ability To Carry Out Normal Day-To-Day Activities, And Who May Be Referred For Such Support And Assistance By The Appropriate Local Authority, National Health Service, Social Care Service Or Other Statutory Service Provider Or By Their Parent, Family Member, Carer Orotherwise (the “young People”): 1.to Act As A Resource For Young People By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:(a)advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;(b)advancing Education;(c)relieving Unemployment;(d)providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons; And2.to Promote Social Inclusion Among The Young People Who Are Socially Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of Their Disabilities, Special Needs And Other Difficulties, By: (a) Raising Public Awareness Of The Issues Affecting The Young People, Both Generally And In Relation To Their Social Exclusion; (b) Providing Workshops, Forums, Advocacy And General Support; And (c) Providing Education, Information And Opportunities To Support And Enable The Young People To Maximise Their Educational, Social And Emotional Development;3.to Preserve And Protect The Health Of Those Caring For The Young People Within The Family Or Home By Helping Them To Obtain Respite And By Providing Training And Advice For Them.
