## **Objects** 

The Objects of LD Carers Direct are: 

- To be an independent voice for family carers of children and adults with a learning disability 

- To support, inform, advocate and advise family carers of people with a learning disability 

- To improve the lives of LD family carers 

- To support LD family carers to improve the lives of their cared for people 

- To prevent LD family carers and their cared for people from feeling disadvantaged and excluded from society 

- To increase opportunity, choice and control for LD families 

- To promote wellbeing to family carers 

- To provide community and civic leadership opportunities 

- To work to promote social and economic inclusion using access to skills, technology, communications and digital media
