Good News Brighton is a pioneerlng church that was fomially sel up a8 a CIO in February 2016. SSnce
inception we havo sIo%￿Y grown in terms of aclivltles and the people we serve.

The principal purpose of the churGh is the advancement of the Chri8tl8n faith according to the prindples
of the Baptist Denomination. The church may a180 advance education and carry out other charitable
purposes al home and abroad.

The church known 8¥ Good News Brlghlon wa8 establlshed by Nell Hllton In M?y 2015 wth 4 church
plant undèr the auspices ol the Baptlst Unlon operating from 1 S Appledore Rood. Brfghlon.
Nell Hilton i¥ the Pa8lorNini8ler in charge of the church. The church provide accommrAafjon for Mr
Hikon 80 ha can corry out his duties and respon8lt41it1es effecllvely.
Outreach, evangeltsm. and befriending of tho communlty began and an official church trust wao
established wllh the fomiatlon of the charilable Incorporated organl8ation on the 4th Februory 2018.
Gtsod Ne￿ Brighton started to lease a building from Brighton City Council In May 2017 al a peppercom
rale in the centre of Mouls8coomb. This bulldlng, Hlllview Gryxl New8 Cenlre, has beon the bgse for
tho charitys actlvltse8 8lnce then.

Befriendinglvislting.. Neil ￿sIts i8olaled and lo￿lY peoF4e. Neil started supportlng residents from three
locally supported housing unlts In Moulsecoomb during lockdowns.
Sabbatical.. Neil and Jfjs8 Hlllon had 8 Sabbatical break from thelr durlng part of 2025.
The charity's lease for the use of the premis0$ at the Hillvlaw Centre ended in early 2026. The church
spent significant time and effort In 2025 tn find a new location for it8 3ctivilEs vknlch would be affordable
for the tharity. however no such location was identified. Al the ￿me of 8lgning these accounts thg
decision has been takèn lo close the charity18ee note$ lo accounlsl.
